Elephant Design Co. Ltd. (hereinafter "the Company") will respect the privacy of all parties (hereinafter "Users") to all CUUSOO Seikatsu Web services (hereinafter "the Services") provided by the Company, and, when handling each User's personal information (as defined below) will exercise due management care.

Failure to input items of personal information required for implementation of a particular Service may result in inability to receive that Service.

Disclosure of Personal Information to Third Parties
In principle, a User's personal information will not be disclosed to any third party without the consent of the User concerned. Personal information can only be disclosed after the User concerned has consented once he or she has been informed of the party receiving disclosure and the information to be disclosed. However a User's personal information may be disclosed in the following situations without his or her consent, to the extent that there is no infringement of any relevant law.
1) Where it is determined that a User has caused a third-party to suffer detriment.
2) When a request for disclosure of personal information is received from a court of law, the Public Prosecutor's Office, the police, a bar association, consumers center or an organization having authority equivalent to these.
3) Where disclosure or provision of a User's information to a third party is specifically requested by the User concerned.
4) Where disclosure or provision of personal information is permitted by law.
5) When the Company reasonably determines that it is necessary in order to provide a service to the User concerned.

Third Parties
In the following situations a party provided with personal information is not deemed to be a third-party.
1) When all or a part of the personal information is delegated to the extent required for the Company to fulfill its use objectives.
2) When personal information is provided pursuant to the business of the Company being taken over due to a company amalgamation or similar reason.

Disclaimer
The Company shall not be liable for the acquisition of personal information by a third-party in the following circumstances.
1) When a User him or herself reveals personal information to another User by using the functions of the Services or by any other means.
2) When a User him or herself is inadvertantly identified by way of information left as a result of visiting the site or by way of information input by the User during the course of using the Services.
3) When a User inputs information belonging to another User (e.g. ID, password) by which that other User can be identified.

Use of Statistical Data
The Company may employ personal information that it receives by processing it so as not to specify any individual, to produce statistical data. The Company may freely use, without restrictions, such statistical data as does not specify any individual.

Unsolicited Commercial E-Mail (UCE) and Spam
"Spam" is Internet terminology and refers to e-mails for marketing or commercial purposes to an individual who has not requested it. The Company does not support or tolerate such activities.

A User may at any time make changes, additions or deletions to his or her personal information recorded for the Service.The Company takes the utmost care to protect personal information recorded by all Users.Please be aware however, that when a User voluntarily records personal information in a service that can be perused by other Users, such as in communities and the like, there is a possibility that such information may be used for purposes other than the User intended.Accordingly, information registered in locations other than locations for registered personal information provided by the Company is not subject to personal information protection measures, and Users are required to understand in advance that they are personally responsible for information registered in such unprotected locations.

To ensure that no one else accesses your information or communication, always be sure to log out and then close your browser after you finish accessing the site.
The Company cannot manage websites that you may link to, thus we cannot be responsible for the actions of any company with such a site. When you use another website be sure to carefully read their conditions of use.
Keep your password and membership information secret. Posting personal contact details on a website provided by the Company is prohibited. The Company bears no responsibility whatsoever for any disclosure of personal information to another member made within a website provided by the Company. Do not forget that if you willingly disclose your personal information, it may be acquired and made use of by another person.
