Elephant design Ltd., a Tokyo based design company, who runs "Cuusoo.com" (http://www.cuusoo.com), an online users community supporting product development by promoting user innovation, and world wide toys manufacturer LEGO Group (Denmark), opened a joint website for user innovation called "LEGO® CUUSOO" (http://www.cuusoo.jp/LEGO/).

(President: Kohei Nishiyama, Head Office: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo), operator of Internet community site "cuusoo.com" (http://www.cuusoo.com/), which supports consumer-initiated product development and RUBOA Co., ltd., a fancy leather goods manufacturer, (President: Shuji Hayashi, Head Office: Higashikagawa, Kagawa) began the development of new products under the theme of fancy leather goods in April 2007, leading to the commercialization of two leather items. While sales of "Smart Wallet" will start on July 10, sales of the "Pocket Bag" (limited to 40) have just begun.

(President: Koji Sekino, Head Office: Osaka, Osaka), an image device manufacturer, begin accepting tentative reservations toward the release of the jointly developed "EIKI Design Projector" through the "cuusoo.com" website on May 1, 2008.

A new collaborative project, "CUUSOO JAPAN BRAND", has begun between JAPAN BRAND and "cuusoo.com".

(President: Kohei Nishiyama, Head Office: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo), which provides consumer-initiated product development support services by leveraging the Internet community, has introduced "JAPAN BRAND", which is being promoted mainly by the Small and Medium Enterprise Agency, the Japan Chamber of Commerce & Industry and the Central Federation of Societies of Commerce & Industry, into its website "cuusoo.com" in order to provide and enhance support for promoting the innovative application of traditional Japanese techniques. The website dedicated to this project opens on Friday, March 14.

"Read-through Transparent Sticky Notes" will go on sale on Thursday, January 24, 2008 elephant design co., ltd. (President: Kohei Nishiyama, Head Office: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo), which provides consumer-initiated product development support services by leveraging the Internet community, announced the sale of "Read-through Transparent Sticky Notes", the first product from the "CUUSOO MUJI" website (opened February 9, 2007) that is jointly managed with Ryohin Keikaku Co., Ltd.

"METER BOX Model A/Model B" were commercialized (sold by SANYO-NORITSU CO., LTD. and Kawamura Electric Inc.) via "cuusoo.com", which is operated by elephant design co., ltd. (President: Kohei Nishiyama, Head Office: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo), which provides product development support for products that have received the Good Design Award (product design category) from the perspective of consumers. We are pleased to announce that "METER BOX Model A/Model B" won the Good Design Award (product design category) organized by the Japan Industrial Design Promotion Organization.

Commercialization of "Office Footwear" for competent male workers
Since 1997, elephant design co., ltd. (President: Kohei Nishiyama, Head Office: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo) has promoted consumer-initiated product development by leveraging its DTO (Design to Order) business model on its website "cuusoo.com". The company has just announced the successful commercialization of "Office Footwear".

On October 3, 2005, elephant design co., ltd. (President: Kohei Nishiyama, Head Office: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo) and Morinaga Engineering Co., Ltd. began the sale of the "Window Radiator", a supplementary heating device for windows that was developed from the desires of users.
This product won the Good Design Award 2005 organized by the Japan Industrial Design Promotion Organization.

"COMPACT IH", the first product of "Switch! the design project", being conducted by elephant design co., ltd. (President: Kohei Nishiyama, Head Office: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo) in collaboration with Tokyo Electric Power to realize the wishes and desires of users, went on sale September 1.
